But when something unusual appears – the senior hasn't moved for a long time, doesn't get up in the morning as usual, or something unexpected happens at night – the monitoring evaluates it and sends an alert to the people you choose. What is senior monitoring?
Senior monitoring is discreet oversight of a loved one who lives alone at home. Smart sensors recognise ordinary activity and, when something unusual happens – long inactivity, nobody up in the morning, or a change in routine – they alert the family. The goal isn't to watch every step, but to give the family the certainty that they'll find out about a problem in time.
Does senior monitoring work without cameras?
Yes. Our solution is built on motion and door sensors that recognise activity without any video. Cameras are always optional and we only recommend them where it makes sense and where both the family and the senior agree.
Does the senior have to wear or operate anything?
No. The sensors are placed around the home and work on their own. The senior doesn't need to carry a phone or wristband and doesn't start anything. A help button can be added for extra reassurance.
How much does senior monitoring cost?
The price has two parts: a one-off investment from 10,000 CZK (control unit including the wireless gateway) and a monthly subscription covering the running of the system, servers and data connectivity, support and updates. All prices include VAT. The final amount depends on the size of the home, the number of rooms and the features you choose – we prepare the quote in advance, free and with no hidden fees.
Do you need internet at the senior's home?
In most cases yes – a connection lets us send alerts to the family's phones. If there's no Wi-Fi, we'll find an alternative during the consultation, such as mobile connectivity built into the device.
